Course Description:

The AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and manage choking. The course is intended for certified or non certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals.

Intended Audience:

Nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, medical residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants and other allied health personnel..

AHA Heartsaver CPR & AED Classes

Course Description:

In addition to the basic techniques of CPR and AED, the AHA Heartsaver teaches the the lay person how to recognize and react to situations such as choking, low blood sugar, bleeding, broken bones and sprains, seizures, strokes, insect bites and stings, and temperature related injuries.

Intended Audience:

Personal trainers, teachers, parents, lifeguards, airline personnel, corporate employees, factory workers, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, other rescuers, and those who need or want to learn CPR, how to operate an AED.

Course Length:  3 to 3.5 hours
